I’ll ask them during break in to check that out, I also noticed the id8 doesn’t show the carbon exterior package on the screen

But the mybmw app does show proper color and packaged

I’ll keep you posted what the dealer says once break in is complete

Also if anyone can chime in, when you guys turn the wheel left or right quickly do you guys hear like a rubbing noise from the front as the wheels turn?

Hey to my fellow week 45 guys. Hope everyone is enjoying their new M cars. I’m at about 1600 miles with a 12/23/23 delivery date. Loving the car. Some quirks with Idrive 8, but overall very happy with the car.

I had port installed HAS done at the NJ port. I just discovered today they set the front to the lowest setting. Everything I had read said the port would set it at 5-10mm drop instead of the full 20mm. Anyone else with the port installed HAS have a similare experience?

No, just surprised based on what I’ve read. Saves me from getting another alignment. However I was a bit disappointed that I can’t close the fender gap a bit more. See front and rear comparison.

Yes, but I wanted to go lower. Once I took the wheel off I realized it’s already at the lowest setting. Front adjustment is very simple. I’ve read the rear is a little more involved. Regardless, I don’t need to change anything.

Thanks. I’m definitely happy I got the HAS. I’m running 12mm F and 10mm R spacers with zero rubbing or scraping. I got the Michelin’s. Some rubbing can happen with spacers on the Perelli’s.

I have the 15 rears and 12 front spacers sitting in the garage waiting for it to arrive. Do you have any pics from the rear?

I got the HAS port installed and mines was also full drop in front. I went 15F/ 12 spacers in back.

You should consider moving up and it will help the front and flush out the back.

Well I’ve done:
MAD non resonated mid pipe - awesome
Dahler exhaust valve controller - not a huge fan. A bit too loud for my tastes.
Ind painted front and gloss black rear reflectors
Code anti dazzle and CS steering
Spacers and mudflats
Some BimmerCode stuff

Still debating adding a carbon front lip and swapping to a CS style carbon grill.

Thinking the same because seen several people lately mention they were at full drop which made me check mines when I installed the yellow drl.
