Carbon tips for stock exhaust

Has anyone installed any carbon tips for the stock g80-82 exhaust?
Either oem or aftermarket?
If so, which ones and how does it look?

There are OEM BMW M Performance Titanium/Carbon fibre exhaust tips for the stock system.

It's about$1500 for the m performance OEM ones. That price is per tip and you need two for each side.
I went with xxii tuning. Will report back on fitment when I get the car in. Quality looks great and I can probably post some pics tomorrow. They're held on with a set screw instead of clamps.

Also interested. Haven‘t seen real life pics yet. Took the following screenshot from a YT video. As much as I like the outside look, I may not like the way the inside gets reduced due to the nature of sliding them above the existing pipe.

Updating the thread with the installed pics. Still not quite sure what I think. Opening is of course smaller due to it being a slip on. Will give it a little time to see if it grows on me.

Yep, stock looks way better. New tips look good off the car, but not so much on. Maybe I would have to see in person though.

I'd stick with the factory. I tried non oem carbon in the past and it just did not hold up to the heat.

Yeah decided to switch it back to factory. Still trying to decide on an exhaust setup and wanted to see if they'd grow on me but I'm with the rest of you. Stock seems best.

I'm in the same awful boat.

Love my sound, but hate the tips. Don't want to compromise my ability to fly under the radar and switching up the axle back.

Sad life.
