Congrats, it’s fun following it across the pond - mine has been at the Baltimore VPC for three weeks now waiting for RAM. No clue if it will be there for a few more weeks or a few more months…

Man, I'm so sorry you're going through that. Has the dealer helped at all with your locked in rate etc?

I’m leasing so finance rate not a factor but lease money factor could be affected. Yeah it’s been a long process my order was received and got production # 7/22. Will be at least a 7-8 month turn around time. It didn’t help my car was stuck in QC for almost 8 weeks.

Have you made a post with pictures yet? My car is on a truck at the port and has been since the 17th. Apparently the truck is waiting for other cars that have been assigned to it. Hopefully whatever is holding it up gets going soon ish.

Not yet I haven’t taken any good pics as the weather has been pretty crappy , will do so soon - it took a little over a month from arrival at port to delivery for me. I’m pretty sure yours will flip to in transit soon , then just a matter of days.

Weather has been really bad lately. Just was warm enough for me to do my second wash.

My driveway is finally melting.
Some good news - car left the VPC today. ETA to the dealership is Thursday. If it hadn't just snowed I would consider keeping the summers on but it looks like the 829s will get some mileage on them this season.

Congrats! Yeah I had the same dilemma but we’ve got 2 more months of potentially bad weather . I’ve got a second car so I prbly could’ve gotten away with it but I want to drive it and the cold temps can cause premature wear on summer compound I think.

Car arrived at the dealership last night. I went in today to sign the papers and ended up taking it home as I'd rather get it washed by a detailer. Decided to keep the summers as it's not my daily and it's warming up. Oh yeah, I got Michelins!
I'm going to talk to Carisma and CMG about PPF in more detail tomorrow / Friday. If anyone reads this and is looking for a sales guy / dealership, I can't recommend Bill Schaff @ Bergstrom (Appleton) enough.

Thank you! Heading to CMG tomorrow for a quote and to discuss what I would like to do. They briefly mentioned a black M3. I think that would be you probably?
