That caliper is absolutely ridiculous! Toronto Red is a nice colour though.

I think the picture is distorted

That's either a 8 inch rotor or 24 inch rim.

Normally the rotors barely clear the rims

You can get it without and thus there is no issue, all these bits cost extra, they're not standard. What part of that don't you get? Ironically I see countless modded M3's on this forum where multitudes come out in solidarity to compliment and often times the result aren't much different than what is presented here. Some even worse but as they say to each his own.

The majority of mods people add to their cars are nothing but eye sore and adds nothing to enhance the driving experience. However, as they say a man/woman has the right to mod his/her car however he/she sees fit. Same principle applies here, BMW must have noticed how many owners riced-out their M3's and figured they may as well cash-in on that.

I saw a new body style 4 series at a local dealer and the grille looked awful. Even the salesman agreed.

Staring at the grille won't be enough to surpass it over the outgoing model however looking at the package as a whole brings it to the next level.

It's up to the buyer to see if they can be more objective about the entire car instead of one aspect.

TR with those wheels and CF trim looks great on the car. Just need the standard exhaust back and a rear wing delete.

I am pretty sure it's the same car with black decals removed.

I find motorsport "aggressive" suggests functional race car. These are all nonsensical molded body lines and carbon aero bits in name only. I feel weird saying it, but the Gx M's looks better left alone. I guess when have M performance parts (excluding inconel exhaust) ever been anything more than carbon bling.

Definitely not my taste, but to each their own. I respect your appreciation for the car. Just hurts to hear it
MPE on F8X is Titanium for 8kg weight saving. E9X was Iconel.

The front lip and rear decklid spoiler on the F8X reduced lift, so they were aerodynamically functional. Mirror caps, diffuser and splitter covers were indeed cosmetic CF bling.

I wonder how much wind tunnel testing was done on the G8X M-Performance parts.

I dislike the entire car; the grille, albeit not to my taste, is not the worst part for me.

At least you're honest about it and not using the grille as your soapbox. Not everyone will like every car but I still believe that this car might be a better overall package than the outgoing model.

I'm also happy that we have one more crack at a manual performance sedan which might be why I'm more passive in my overall view.

I actually dislike the Lexus like rear end of the car as well.

The pictures of the front with euro plates look better because the grille is broken up by the plate.

I get it though, if it drives great, you don't see the front or rear end from the driver's seat.

I was looking at mountain bikes the other day and this kinda reminded me of the disc brakes on them.
