Modifying exhaust on G81 with OPF - Seeking advice second muffler

Hey everyone,
I'm back with a G81 and aiming to refine its exhaust sound for daily driving, keeping it rich but without the loudness of my old straight-piped 340i. The car's a fresh 8,000 km journey into modding, starting with the exhaust while retaining the OPF.

I plan to replace the second muffler, add a valve controller, and later integrate HJS 200 cell downpipes, all while keeping the stock back-box and OPF. I should sound something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28bA...annel=BTMTurbo or maybe even like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afkR...nnel=AutoTopNL but without the hefty price tag of the akra back box.

I’m contemplating between dual pipes or an X-pipe as a replacement, with options like Supersprint and HG Motorsport on my radar, yet open to custom solutions.

Could anyone shed light on the advantages of choosing an X-pipe instead of dual pipes, particularly when considering future upgrades like HJS downpipes?

Leaning towards the X-pipe. But maybe it makes such a littles difference I could just skip it anyway and leave it stock?
