I've been running it for a while. With all the spacers in, the engagement point comes on pretty much right away, but you're still well past it with the pedal to the floor. It doesn't leave a lot of room for sloppy clutch work, but it feels CORRECT.

Kept all the spacers in and I plan to keep it that way. The engagement point comes right away and that suits my style and preference for both everyday and spirited driving.

With that said, driving has been smoother, especially with the 1-2 up shift, since I don't have to modulate so much dead space while driving. Of course you're more than welcome to remove a spacer or two if you want, and that's what make the mod quite versatile!

I say keep all the spacers in to start, and just remove if the engagement point becomes too aggressive for you!

Yup! Engagement point with all spacers comes right away, so takes a min or so to remember more gas on the uptake for smoother driving.

Overall I like the mod! Makes the clutch travel feel less exhausting, while retaining practicality and response!

Both, the first two sessions were with it off, but the last two I put it on as I reaching the tire limit so I wanted to concentrate more on managing the tires. Tbh the assist really works good and after a lap of getting rid of the habit to do it myself I found that I could concentrate more on braking more consistently.

1200 mile service scheduled for Friday.

One of my windows makes a loud click noise like it's sticking on something when rolling up so I haven't used it since. I'll also ask about the laser high beams not working.

Only those two issues on a new car is pretty good.

Yes, that was a little bit ago. What was your name on there? If I remember right, you might have been into capoeira.

Good memory! 19 years and counting. I'm still a mod over there (...M3Inline6). Circa 2003-2005 was great on that forum.

Picked my M3 6MT on Friday. Asked dealer not to prep as it’s getting shipped a few states away.

On a side note, my owners manual came with additional literature but its says 2021 BMW M2, M5. CA said that’s how the car came from factory. Anyone else got the same packet?

Really nice heel toe driving. I am good at many things in life, that is NOT one of them. The braking from 150 down to ~43 mph was insane.

Yeah he's really good at it. He didn't upset the chassis at all. That was some DCT level downshifting there. Well done!

Yes, the "New Vehicle Limited Warranty"

Also the "Tire Manufactuerers' Warranties - Guide" seems to be on a CD.
Minimum system requirements -

PC
Pentium II 433MHz
64MB of RAM
Windows 98
4x CD-ROM
800x600 monitor

MAC
PowerPC 333MHZ
64MB of RAM
Mac OS X
4X CD-ROM
800x600 monitor

The copyright date on the case is 2019. This is in 2021. WTF

Maybe someone is storing their unprotected Bitcoin wallet somewhere people would never look - on these CDs. Has anyone opened it yet?

Thanks!

Choosing the exterior/interior color was the easiest part. Choosing the wheels was much harder 😂

It's almost as funny as the 2GB USB flash drive I got with my F87 that had links to pages on bmwusa.com and some random videos that looked like YouTube intros.

Lol you should see some of my other footage where I’m having “come to Jesus moments” cause I mess up the 3rd to 2nd downshift lol. That’s why if you notice I try to use third for most of the corners cause I know coming into second can upset the car big time.

Finally got around to installing a clutch stop today after ~1,200 miles. Total game changer. Really improves how the shifts feel, plus allows me to get a slightly more comfortable driving position. Wish I'd done it earlier
