First time M3 owner

Hello all, first time BMW owner. I'm very excited. Since 2018, I've gone from a TTRS, to a 991.2 CS, to a 2021 Audi S5 and now into the new M3. Made one payment on the S5 and traded it for the M3. Wasn't expecting to do that, but going from the 911 into an Audi S was not a good decision. The S5 was beautiful inside and out, very precise but just too refined, too disconnected to be sporty "enough". The M3 makes me smile like the 911 did. Both are incredible cars. Love, love, love the 4 door practicality of the M3 and probably is the biggest reason I'm in the M3. Its so aggressive looking. And IMO, BMW finally got an interior right, somewhat..lol. No, the interior is great as well.

nice, I came from a 2019 S5 Sportback. I have had it since last November but I wanted something more track capable that I can also daily drive. The RS5 didn't do it for me. I do miss the hatch on the Sportback though, it was crazy how much stuff I could fit back there.

Good stuff. I had the coupe version of the S5. I think in retrospect the SB would have been a better choice. Can argue with the capabilities of the SB. They look awesome too.

You can leave the blue protective film on the dead pedal as it kind of matches the interior colors lol. Seriously though the blue looks good.

Would you get back into a 911 or stick with the G80 M3? I haven’t had a chance to drive the G80 M3 so I’m keeping all options open even a CPO 911

For me, The 911 was an amazing car. But I have a 3yr old, among other kids, and getting him in and out of the car seat was a pain. Also, I love the updated tech and interior of the M3. The 991.2 looks and feels very dated compared to the M3. If I didn't have to think about things like money, kids, use ability, I'd be in a 992 CS. All that said, the M3 does not make miss the 991.2. Just kinda depends on what fits best for your life. 911's are flat out amazing and so dang fun to drive.
