I did silverstone for my FO. I don't think kylami matches the orange well. It's not that it's too much, I think it just clashes.

Also, kylami is a very warm and specific orange tone that has to be seen in person.

Makes sense, I'll probably stick with the Silverstone as well, since I've seen it in person and it looks amazing.

For F.O. owners, any thoughts on paint protection? The paint is gorgeous, and while I would like to protect it, I am reluctant to use any product that will alter its appearance in any manner. Are you planning on ppf, ceramic or nothing (other than regular wash/wax)?

Also, have any of you ever managed to escape rocks/cracks in the windshield? With my z4 (sold) and m235i, I had cracks in the windshield within two weeks of delivery. On my m235i (2015), I am on my third windshield.

As you can see from the attached, M3 is off to an even quicker start. This happened just a couple of days after taking delivery.

To me, this combination is a bit too much for either the M3 or M4. The M3 has fairly aggressive styling, and this interior/exterior color combination seems to fight with that styling. For fire orange, if I was going to go with any interior other than black, it would be Silverstone.

Reviving an old thread.

I current have a 21, rear drive, Frozen Orange with Kylami Interior G80.

I am contemplating updating to get the xDrive…. But mainly to get Fire Orange!

I would still stick with the Kylami interior too…. As is there really any such thing as too much or Orange….. 😂

Open to your thoughts.

I was wondering the same thing. G87 on the horizon. Really like the Fire Orange exterior, but wondering if the KO interior is too much. Saw the video from Japan. Looks pretty cool, but don't want too much "boy racer" vibe. Anyone with the combo like to chime in?

About to receive allocation on my FO exterior and KO interior. No, there's not such thing as too much orange when it pops as well as it does on the G8x!

I ended up pulling the trigger on a new xDrive!

Should be here at the end of the year.

Trading in my rear drive Frozen Orange M3 in on a Fire Orange xDrive M3!

I stuck with the kyalami orange interior and the exterior carbon pack with 826 Black Wheels.

Basically the same spec as my Frozen Orange, just the "I think" better Fire Orange and xDrive.

Can't FN wait!

Quick ask here, I've been on the waitlist at my local BMW for 6 months and I specifically want to get the G80 in individual Fire Orange. I'm seeing in some other threads that there's a possibility that with FO being featured in the MY '23 Jahre edition, FO may not be an approved individual color until MY '24 comes out.

Any validity or facts to this? I'm close to getting allocation and it would be a pity to wait all this time just to find out the color won't be approved until the MY moves to 2024. Thanks BMW fam!
