Much appreciated, I go back and forth on the idea of keeping it or letting it go. It’s such an amazing color to see in person and it’s perfectly specced with the Carbon ceramics and buckets. Literally zero brake dust.

I've got a fire orange jahre (non ceramic brakes and non bucket seats). The color is truly incredible. It gets looks everywhere I go. I didn't know there were only 47 produced in the US. Nice little info. Best of luck with the sale (and the new p-car)

Which p car is replacing? How have you liked the g80? I need your doors and I’m looking at selling my 996 turbo.

Not going to be replacing, decided to keep this G80 and get the P car as well.

I love this car, I just went full stage 2 on e40 and the power is insane.

It’s a lease takeover. Rare colors and extra equipment have zero value for the lessor. The car goes back at the end of the term.

You obviously don’t know much about car sales, so let me fill you in.

At end of the lease, you don’t have to turn the car in to BMW, it’s actually stupid to do this as this car will be worth more than the buyout price at end of lease term.

So you have three option:

1. Turn in car (not smart at all)
2. Sell car private party (if car is worth 80,000 and your residual is 68,000 then you pocket the extra money)
3. Buy car from BMW for the residual amount and you can either sell or keep it.

Thanks for filling me in. /s

If your plan is to buy a car, it’s absolutely stupid to lease it first and then buy it outright — or assume a lease, and then buy it. If you want to own and mod a car, the best way is to buy a car with cash. Your second best choice is to buy it with a loan. Someone interested in your car should start with the buyout price and go from there, versus assuming it for the term and then buying it outright. No lender will loan for more than actual value, and the value of this car is less than what you paid. Fact.

You won’t find your lease assumer or buyer on this forum — everyone is way too educated for your terms. Your best option is to put it somewhere where you’ll get an emotional buyer who has no idea the value of these cars.

4. Sell it to a dealer
I have done this with every lease I have owned. Mind you, I just went the easy route and sold it back to the BMW dealer I leased from. But, if you put to work in you may find a dealer that would offer more. I’ve made 2-8k off of doing this with each lease. Of course, the 8k profit was in December of 2021.

I couldn’t agree with #1 more!

I’ve had over 15 people contact me for this car, and still continue to get people messaging me saying they will buy the car or assume the lease plus giving me $10,000 down.

I have decided to keep the car, so I have no interest in the offers currently.

Looking at your current posts, you are in the market for a g80 and it’s clear you are getting pretty upset that you aren’t able to get one for the price you want, or you just comment and hate on someone else’s car.

Maybe some therapy and some self reflecting will help you with the issues you are currently going through.

Good luck

Oh and type in fire orange Jahre G80 and find one with carbon buckets and carbon ceramic brakes online and let me know how much they are selling for…

So you’re just so bored with your pathetic life you go and find threads and comment on them.

Enjoy your POS i7.

Let’s not even talk about how you lost 50k the second you drove that off the lot.
