Edit: Not hating at all on the price of this car. It has some great aftermarket additions, which justify the sale price even more. |

Far from an expert but isn't their substantial risk for the buyer purchasing a car without clean title? Is it legal to even sell something you don't own?

How is it not a clean title? Just because I don’t have it in my possession doesn’t mean it’s not “clean”. Buyer pays, confirmation of payment to BMW provided back to buyer, BoS is created, buyer waits until title comes, title gets shipped/delivered. Did you pay cash for your wife’s X3M and your newly build G8X?

Cars with a loan (from any financial institution) is sold all the time. I have sold several of mine to a private buyers and there is absolutely no risk to anyone involved.

Which is what? Sorry if I am being dense but I don't see a price anywhere. Also, MSRP is $75,095 - just post the sticker. I can't be the only one who thinks that price cropping on stickers is absurd (seller is by no means alone in this) but come on. We all know it's 2022 and the market is what it is, there was a price increase for 23, etc. but cutting off the price part of the sticker just seems so arbitrary. |

People look at another person's post history to understand whom they are talking to especially when they post something like what you did. I don't think its creepy in the current online age.

Not to go into detail but the window sticker picture was taken last year when I first listed the car when the market was still competitive. And it's the only picture I have saved on my album. I'd be happy to dig up the paperwork again if I have a serious buyer. But as you already stated MSRP ranges depending on the dealer (and state) so I didn't do it with the intent of fooling anyone. Your comment implied that there was something questionable about my car's title/paperwork without having knowledge of how most private sales work esp. for a car at this price range and above. And yes I said most because unless you are one of the few who are able to or willing to spend 70k+ cash on a car that usually would depreciate then we all would be doing something illegal by your definition since we don't OWN our cars. So I'm going to leave you with another question since you didn't answer my previous question, if you didn't pay cash for any of your cars isn't it illegal to drive around a car you technically don't own? |
