Anyone got lucky today with status change? Im still at 112 with build week 36. Waiting till the end of the day to call the Genius line and hoping that its still being built next week

Let us know what you hear. I'm still at 112 with bw 36, as well. I know the online tracker tends to be a few days delayed at times. Even though I've waited over 8 months to get to this point, I will feel so much better knowing it's flipped to 150.

Still 112 as of 8/3. I will give them a call at the end of the day since I know online can be behind. Let's see if the genius's statement of a 8/28 start production was correct. I'll report back once I call them at the end of the day.

I'm still at 150 and have been for weeks. I called Genius today and they say my production date is still 9/1. Not sure how that's going to happen.

Well, I called and spoke to the Genius and they still have me at wk 36 which is next week. They also keep saying that I wont see any update on mygarage until next week when the production starts. I wonder if BMW changed the way the updates are now pushed through. I mean status 150 means "Production Begins" so technically it should update next week Monday if my car is being built wk36. But others have mentioned status 150 change occurs 1-2 wks before production. I guess only time will tell. Hopelessly optimistic that its still being built next week but will see how things go.

For those wondering if week 36 build is still possible, well yes it is. You normally hit status 151 on your build week, and barring any delays like being stuck in QC, it only takes 3-4 days to complete the build. I was build week 31 (week of 8/1 - 8/5, my prod date 8/4), and here is my timeline to get an idea of how it goes. Hope this helps.

7/15 - Received allocation/production number (112)
7/25 - Production begins (150)
8/1 - Exterior body assembly begins (151)
8/2 - In the paint booth (152)
8/3 - Entering assembly line (153) early morning
8/3 - Assembly in progress (154) 12:00 pm
8/3 - Quality Check (155) 4:00 pm
8/4 - Dispatched from factory (190) (Scheduled prod date 8/4, so right on time)
8/5 - At the port (193)
8/29 - In transit (195)

Thanks. I think the issue Im dreading is that technically as per your timeline, I should be in status 150 today or tomorrow right. Build date 9/4-9/9. Since Im not in 150 yet as of today, Im worried that my build is going to get bumped soon

That's true. You typically go into 150 a week before the build week. It could change today or tomorrow, so don't lose hope just yet.

I was advised on Friday that I'm still scheduled for week 36. Still 'scheduled for production' in garage. Comp Xdrive M3 order.

was told the same Friday as well, week 36. Been sitting at "Production Begins" for 2+ weeks now

I’ve been in 150 since the first week of August with a completion date of 9/8. It sucks seeing it stay in production begins for weeks but was told that it’s normal. Hopefully all goes well into next week!

Hi all, my dealer is telling me my vehicle "order number" is currently in 112. Once it goes to 150, they will be able to provide you with the login details to view your build in real time. Is that perhaps the normal process?

Once you are 112 you should be abet see your build if you have your production number in MyGarage at your BMW website for your region. At least we can in the US.

Mine entered "exterior body assembly begins" this morning. Production date of 9/1. All options except carbon ceramics.

Ah yes i have the 7 digit chassis number but when I input it into the add vehicle section on MyGarage, an error message says that MyGarage is currently unavailable.

Not sure if this is a region-based thing where it doesnt cover Australian delivered vehicles

I think if Im correct, only the US customers r able to track this in Mygarage. I vaguely remember that its not available in Europe either.

Changed overnight. 112 on 8/29/22 and 150 on 8/30/22. Hang in there - you are close -- and most importantly you have an allocation.

Thanks. I am grateful that I have an allocation but patience isnt my forte...lol. I think I should stop checking my grage every hour
