Don't see a Week 14 thread so I figured I'd start one.

Got my production number on 1/6/22. Was originally scheduled for Week 7 but bumped to Week 14 after BMW accepted my custom color. Build below:

M4C xDrive
Chalk / Full Fiona
Buckets
Carbon exterior & interior
Drivers Assistance
Parking Assistance
Executive
826M Bi Color
Shadowline lights
Laser Lights

I suppose if everything goes perfectly, I'll get the car sometime in June with an early April production. Going to be a difficult wait.

Not to be a downer. But LCI for the M3 comes out in July. With such an awesome spec, have you thought about waiting it out a little more?

I'm only interested in an M4. My understanding was that the LCI for the M4 would be a year (or more) after the M3. Am I wrong about that?

The only thing that will change for the "first" LCI in the M3 only will be the ID8 dash. No changes both to front or tail lights (as the just released M8 by the way) no other exterior changes.

A major facelift will be done alongside the M4 on 07/24, because....from Munich I've heard that the G20 lifecycle....will be a bit longer compare to what we knew... my friend at BMW told me that the covid pandemy has cahanged significantly the renewal strategy. So....G20 will live after the 2025 originally scheduled. I don't know the M3, but it's likely to live longer too.

From what I've heard G20 LCI starts production in late October so I wouldn't expect G80 LCI to start sooner.

Looks like my build just updated to include the 50th anniversary badges. They hadn't populated yet which makes sense considering I was just bumped.

Kind of 50/50 on them , nice that they're unique not sure if I personally like they're appearance.

I was also a week 7 build (in the UK though, not US like most on here) but got bumped all the way to week 14. Fingers crossed no more delays!

I'm gonna follow up with genius just to see what week specifically I'm slotted for.

Last I heard from them it was week 14 but I wouldn't be surprised if i was bumped in any direction at this point.

Exactly what my dealer told me too. His build software is unable to nail spec beyond Sept, which indicates the changeover threshold for the LCI is this autumn. And it's still not definitive as to whether the M3 will be burdened this year with iD8.

yea i called and emailed them earlier this week and they said 14 still so who knows what's goin on
