I ordered in September, my build got delayed over a month. I sat in quality check for 2 weeks, then I sat at the port for a month. Now my car is in South America and I still won't have it for 2-3 weeks.
I didnt know you could order in September. I know for us in the US it was March 11 or so we could begin ordering

I had my production number for the car in December, the car was released in the US in March. Plenty of orders before then. I got my allocation in November I think.

These timelines are absurd. I'm a week 26 build complete and I pray conditions improve.

I was only at port since last Wednesday. I just looked up Sunshine Ace and you are right, looks like that gets to NY on the 25th, 5 days ahead of the Fidelio. Hoping I'm on that one instead.

Will can the genius today to get boat info.

I had that happen to me with my AMG. They built them, but because it was a new model, they were unable to release them from the factory until the EPA tested and rated the powertrain for fuel economy. Well once that happened, they couldn't locate it. When they did, they realized it was in the back of a packed in lot of C-class that had to be moved first.

Glad to hear it has been found and finally on its way to you! Strange set of circumstances though…in the end so long as everything arrives in working order I suppose nothing to be too upset about and it will likely be a distant memory once you get some seat time and miles on those tires.

No car for me right now. I had to abandon my May build and get bumped to a 2022 model once I got approved for my individual color choice. It was the only way BMW would approve of my individual request back in April.

So now I am just (im)patiently waiting for the 2022 allocations to open up.

Yeah, I switched to Twilight Purple for the color.

I'm keeping with the RWD as there isn't a huge need for AWD here in Phoenix, at least not enough to justify the extra $4,100 increase for me.

I wish i knew about those special colors! I got myself a tanzanite blue color love the color but i wanted a Marina blue. My first M car. I actually havnt even seen or driven the new M3. I just couldn't resist the manual transmission. AWD would be best for me in nyc but unfortunately no manual for it.

Now that you know about the individual program you can keep it in mind for your next M car.

For sure man! Did you get your car already? I actually havnt seen an M3 nor have i test drove it so really excited
No car for me right now. I had to abandon my May build and get bumped to a 2022 model once I got approved for my individual color choice. It was the only way BMW would approve of my individual request back in April.

So now I am just (im)patiently waiting for the 2022 allocations to open up.
So you're getting a special color? Are you getting the awd?

Yeah, I only leased so after 3 years ill definitely look into those colors

Still not on a ship since 04/19!?! That must be incredibly frustrating seeing everyone else going out. I assume you are heading to NY/NJ right?
