Build week 10 means the car will be built on the 10th week of the year which is March 8th in my case.

Well, basically fully loaded except CCB

But i'm still not sure about the color
Still have some time to make changes...

Choosing from:
IOMG (loved it in the showroom! will I also love it on the street? will it bother me after a while? Questions over questions...)
Portimao Blue (say what you want, I love it)
Black (on long term this won't annoy me but it's just...everyone has a black car)

Are you nervous about the Orbit Grey wheels with IOMG?

Not terribly - I have the light interior and the black calipers, but there's a lot of black accent and I debated the black wheels. The other concern was that living in town, the wheels tend to get a bit of curb rash over time and it shows less on the non black wheels.

IOMG will look great and it appears to be a popular color based some of the orders I've seen. It's currently no. 2 for me, after Portimao Blue. It looks like we have similar thoughts

If you're keeping the car for a while and want it to be timeless I'd go with black. Some bright colors don't age very well 5-10-15 years later. This may be the last 4 door manual sedan that isn't a Honda or Subaru so I plan on keeping it a while.

thats exactly the point...I usually keep a car very long time and i plan to keep this M3 also quiet long, at least 6 yrs.

This is the only point why i'm so torn...if it would be only lease for 3yrs or so i wouldn't care and go straight for green.
Blue and Black are more timeless, especially black.
Negative point of black:
the lines and the carbon gets sucked...
but apart from that black is always beautiful

With black you could always wrap it in xpel stealth and get the frozen black look which shows the lines and when you get bored you can remove and go back to normal. This will most likely be the route I take.

Yes black does take away from the carbon but the folks who know about cars can still see carbon from far away. The folks who don't know anything will just say you have some 328i with a big grill. Those who know, know.

Apparently bmw M ceo drives a frozen black m4, so it seems more appealing to me to wrap. Frozen black isn't available in USA, and this is a much better route if the car ever gets a scratch.

I wouldn't go black -- it looks like Portimao Blue is a good option for you because (1) you like it, and (2) blue BMWs are always timeless!
