I think I read in the Order Tracking sticky that Genius doesnt really have an update until it clears customs and is in the VPC. I think this could take a few days?

Boat left the initial dock and is now tethered up to another dock right across the bay at Sparrow’s Point.
Interestingly enough, both sites seem to have a BMW owned building right next to them. I’m not sure if they do that to distribute the load of processing the cars in half (which would be nice), or if maybe the second site is just a refueling station or something. Or maybe the second site is where BMW loads cars that get sent back to Germany for whatever reason? None of this probably matters other than to satisfy my curiosity, of course, haha. |

I've been to the BMW VPC at Fellows Point ...they process BMWs and Mini's
They only have one XL large building there. The building right next door is VW group. |

Yes, you’ll definitely go back to “at the port” when you’re offloaded. As far as flipping back to “in transit” when you’re dispatched to the dealer, that’s hit or miss.

No idea, but I just flipped back to “at the port!” I wonder if the ship had more than just BMW inventory on it and had to drop off at multiple sites.

Genius said it was at the VPC. Just came in today, which makes sense since it went back to "At Port".
Have yet to be assigned a carrier, but the system is showing estimated dealership delivery on 2/6 (of course, subject to change). Does any one know if the carrier companies generally have their own tracking as well? (Once one is assigned) |

When I talked to my CA last week he said it usually takes about 10 days to get to the chicago area, but with the RAM stop sale it could be a fair bit longer…

Do you have the stop sale? I dont think I have any recalls or stop sales, but my dealer told me plan for 2 weeks from time at port.

Just got off the phone with Genius. My audio receiver module was fixed today and the car is ready for transport! Should be at the dealership on 2/6. Picking it up next Friday!
