Very interesting and dynamic color. Has some drowning in it and in the sun has that glossy maroon. Also, silverstone really has that bluish/silver tint more than pictures showing

The bluish/silver of Silverstone definitely doesn't come through in pictures but actually think that works well with these Individual Colors. Otherwise it just being white wasn't doing it for me and I didn't get the hype. Have to see this in person.

Thx for sharing...this was the basic exterior color/wheel combo I would have gone for with Aventurine...nice to see it!

Aventurine looks amazing outdoors in direct light. On cloudy days or indirect light it often appears drab or lacking depth. Either way definitely one of the best colors on the palette for the G80/G82.

Agreed!
One thing I noticed that the paint is VERY soft ad ANY contact with the rock would chip it -- if it was not a lease, I would definitely PPF it.
My car has 400 miles on it, two trips to the airport and already chips up front. I do not recall that with my 2018 F80 (my 2021 F87 was PPF'd)...

Same issue with our Marina Bay Blue X5M Competition. Looks great but wears poorly.

Carbon Bucket Seat annoying between the legs on M3 G80

I was wondering if anyone knows of a thing that would cancel the raised piece between the legs on the bucket seats.
I never found a BMW M car with the bucket seats to try it out before buying. Honestly, I would've specked it even if I had tried it because the annoyance only started happening later after driving the car for a while.
Does anyone know of an accessory or a think that would cancel or flat out the middle piece between the legs (whatever people call it)?

It really annoys me while driving, especially for long distance, but otherwise I think the seats are comfortable enough. I just wish it was flat like all other car companies. To go around it, I learned to use left foot braking. Thank you

There isn't. You can remove the carbon piece to attach a racing harness or, if you're a porn star, to strap down your c**k. Other than that, you're out of luck.

I'll look into how to remove the carbon fiber piece in the middle. I hope that when it's removed that the side leather pieces would collapse a little inwards and allow for more of a flat feeling or less thigh poke. Thanks.

I doubt it, but would be interesting.

It's an M340 but here's a video of that combo. Also see post 45 of this thread.

Thanks. Combo looks slick. I am not a fan of the black elements with the Silverstone but the warmth of the Ivory....might be a better match to AR? It's a pretty warm color with all the browns in it.

Would be yet another different white / near white interior for me:

BMW Oyster Nappa
Porsche Pebble
Tesla White (x2)
Porsche Chalk
now maybe BMW Ivory?

Personally, I'd change it up, but I get it. If that's your color, go for it. I know for sure, if I have the choice, I'll never order plain black leather again. Too boring. My initial spec for my G80 was AR over Fjord...reverse Superman/Spiderman combo. Didn't change because it was too much, but because I really wanted a green car for once.

I hear you, but that’s been in the last 10 years. And not my / our only cars, and neither of the Porsches were my daily. Still, I’d do Tartufo if the wife didn’t protest…too “orange-y” for her. . But, that doesn’t look great with AR and I want another red car. Definitely never again on black. Fjord with AR….interesting combo. Got any pics?

I don't believe so, but there are plenty of fjord pics floating around. It was a fine combo for me, I wasn't afraid of it. My last car was too close on the color spectrum to the AR, so I wanted to go with green. Almost went for the watermelon effect with a fiona interior on this one.
