Mud flaps if you have spacers
Anyone here finding that they needed mud flaps once they put spacers on to avoid paint chips especially on the rear quarters?
Not seeing much chatter about this or any "real world" issues due to filling out the wheel wells, but taking delivery shortly and have to make a go or no decision shortly on the mud flaps. As an FYI, going to 10MM spacers all round. |

A must have to avoid rock chips. The tires are very sticky and you will actually see rock flying up when making a turn. Also w0ith the big booty sticking out, it's going to get smacked.
I ran TLG mud flaps and they were great. You cant go wrong with them. Recently I switched to AP carbon flaps and are very pleased with them. ban_m2c sells0 them on the forum and they come quick once purchased.

I got a couple small chips on the driver door after I added 15mm spacer. Installed TLG flaps and have had no issues since. I didn't install the rears yet as it didn't seem to be so much of an issue. Those CF ones look nicer but I am happy with the TLG.

I would definitely do the back. Over time you will see how it chips away at the paint.

Any pros and cons on the AP carbon flaps vs TLG? I'm looking at getting a set and cannot decide which to go for. Other than my roof, there's no other carbon on the exterior of my cars and I wonder if the extra $50 is worth it for AP carbon.

The only downside is they get beat up rather quickly but TLG does the same also. I like them because they are not as noticeable but when you see them on car, they look like they belong. The TLG ones to me are just black plastic. Don't get me wrong, they do what they are supposed to but the carbon ones just look better.

I've seen these carbon mud flaps, not sure if anyone has tried these out, but they look decent for the fronts:

Nothing for the rears. So far haven't felt as though they are needed. However I don't have spacers and I also have the rear winglets which I think help keep small rocks off the rear panels.

Did any of u guys use a screw on the front mud flaps to tighten it down even more? Or just the rivets?

Did you only use the rivets on the front?

Just the rivets.
Update to my original post, I do now have 5mm spacers all around. Still haven’t felt the need for adding rear flaps yet though.

Running AP carbon mud flaps with 15mm squared. I think they help. You can hear the rocks kicking up at the flaps while driving. So far they seem to serve their purpose and don’t look too chunky or out of place.
