Western governments will keep pushing EV light vehicle adoption. Out of a barrel of oil there is only a small adjustment that can be made in the proportion of gasoline and heavier fuels (JetA, Diesel, bunker fuel for ships, etc).
Result is that demand for gasoline will keep falling faster than the overall demand for other fuels in a barrel of oil. As that continues and accelerates, the market price of gasoline will trend lower. At the extreme it can even be negative at times - i.e. refiners will have to pay people to take the excess fuel. In the US diesel and gasoline have historical been about the same price per gallon give or take at the pump. Now there is a $1+ difference in most places already. So, owning a high power gasoline car is looking increasingly attractive in the future.

https://www.kerbocharge.com/ - basically a channel in path, with "lid" seal which you can insert/remove cable and leave flat surface to walk on. Sounds good (and much better than pictures) - however I'd worry about life of them |

When states can issue speeding citations and claim the citation is a "non-moving" violation (like a parking ticket), pretty much all hope is lost. Complete and utter Orwellian 1984 nonsense. Along with an utter lack of understanding of Physics, YET we are supposed to "BELIEVE THE SCIENCE" of globalwarmingclimatechange or be declared a climate heretic.

$7.5 Billion in Federal Funds Yield Only 8 EV Charging Stations
May 07, 2024 The Biden Administration’s $7.5 billion effort to jump-start the electric-vehicle charging landscape is moving very, very slowly. Now more than two years after the program was signed into law in late 2021, only eight chargers have been put in place. https://www.autoweek.com/news/a60702...ging-stations/ Color me shocked |

More news from the mentally deranged
EV Sales Won’t solve Climate problem –Most Important Climate News–5/7/24 Inside Climate News asked an important question, “EV Sales Are Taking Off. Why Is Oil Demand Still Climbing?” There is no sign oil demand will drop for years. Daniel Raimi, a fellow at Resources for the Future, an environment and energy research institute told the news service, “Under current policies, EVs are not an existential threat to global oil demand, not even close. If we’re going to achieve our long-term climate goals we need additional public policies and technological innovation to get us where we need to go.” Climatecrisis247 believes that EVs only solve a modest amount of the problem of greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, their sales have slowed. A large number of other huge industries use oil, and as the global economy improves demand for crude will increase with it. https://climatecrisis247.com/news/ev...e-news-5-7-24/ Just another reminder to the green idiots that think EV's will fix the planet. |
