▀▄ eas | AST Lowering springs for G8x M3/M4 - now available!

Rejoice - the first of the AST springs for G8x M3/M4 are now on US soil.

AST Lowering Springs are manufactured from a premium high tensile chromium-silicone wire which is handpicked by AST engineers for its quality and metal consistency. Each spring is cold wound and then heat treated to increase hardness and reduce internal stresses present after winding. Each spring is then individually shot peened, phosphate treated and then powder coated to outlast even the life of the vehicle.

AST suspension lowering springs will lower that center of gravity without giving in a lot of the comfort you are used to with the OEM springs. The lowering springs are a direct replacement of the OEM springs and have been developed especially for each vehicle specific. Made out of the best material on the best Wafios coiling machines available.

Drop looks good and slightly more even than the first pics I saw of PSI's car. Do you have a shot of the entire car from the side?

I’m pretty sure this question would be hard to answer but you think it would rub 20” 275/30/20 and 295/30/20 (MPS4)? That’s my wheel setup

Yes sir.

So these springs appear to be the opposite of MSS where they drop the front perfectly yet leave the rear (for me) just a bit shy at 15mm (6/10ths of an inch).

You (and I) could go hog wild here and buy those springs for the front and leave MSS in the rear :

I'm down for trying it. The front suspension easy enough to disassemble, and Im pretty sure that the main benefit of the MSS HAS kit is the multi-spring setup for the rear. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid an additional $300-400 for the perfect drop right out of the shop.

Completely serious! I've been looking at some other options as well, like modifying the MSS front spring perch, using only the bottom half of the MSS front adjuster (although the total benefit might be 3mm for this) and/or cutting a coil with the spring in an ice bath

Any idea if these will be the same for G82 and just provide a different (my assumption is lower) drop? I am ready to order but the vendor told me they were m3 only due to the differing weights, which didn't make much sense to me.

G82 M4 is a different spring/part number than G80 M3.

Would need to see clearance beforehand. Other variables like weight (# of passengers) factor in as well.

Pretty sure struts are identical, will be able to verify once ETK is updated.
