Stop-sale / delay due to camera issue

For those who's delivery is long overdue, are BMW dealers compensating you somehow (ex. discount on your car)?

Nope. Mine was EPA hold was cleared on Monday. It's just sitting at VPC with no Holds and they have no idea when it will be delivered. Soon is all they say.

I was told the same thing yesterday by my CA. I am doing PCD and they won't set a date until the EPA hold has been removed. I would have thought that if the hold was lifted for one 2022 g80 it would be lifted for all, but seems like that might not be the case

OK, good, this is the first Ive heard of a 2022 being cleared from EPA.

Well from what GFit is saying, it looks like some of them are getting lifted.

I'm kind of curious to see if they do the retrofits based on queue, cost of car, or work order date.

I am assuming the EPA hold is lifted based on the info here and what Genius and my dealer are saying. Up until Monday my car had an "Engineering Hold" but that has since been removed. I asked the GM to call the VPC today to find out what is going on. Will report back.

It got to NJ VPC on 7/23. Had an engineering hold until 7/31. Now they have no idea why it hasn't been shipped to dealer and getting info is challenging. They need a better communication system at least.

Honestly I don't even know anymore. A member also order a g20 m340i Mexico build MY21 and it arrived at Port Hueneme yesterday morning also with parking package. Already assigned carrier for next week. No work orders, no waiting for parts, cleared and waiting for release to carrier. Feels pretty bad man...

But good for him at least

Edit: Update! Just called Genius and they told me my car was also released to carrier and to call my CA for further information. SWEET! Maybe the parts got to Port?

I just logged in to BMW USA and it shows the car is at the dealership! Going to call and see what's up

How do you track a car on BMW USA? It asks me information that I would only know if I had the car……which obviously I do not. Thanks.

When you login to bmwusa.com you then go to My Garage > Add a vehicle. From there click the link to use your production order number. Your dealer will give this to you if you have an allocation. Hope that helps.

How are you tracking your car. I got the MY BMW app and put in the VIN, then it asks me to activate something on the car, as if I have it in my possession. I get hung up at that point on the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated on what I am doing wrong. Thanks.
