My 2023 M4 Competition xDrive Coupe is aboard the vessel Brooklands with an ETA sometime around 8/13. I confirmed with the dealer and BMW Genius today. The car was ordered on 6/17/2022, and so far, at least, I have been very fortunate to have been at the right place at the right time.

Does anyone know how to track the ship Brooklands?

Aside: You're unbelievably lucky to have ordered last month and being aboard already. That's nearly unheard of the past year.

I made it aboard this ship as well. I wasn't as lucky as you though and ordered in Jan, but that doesn't matter now!

Where in the Philly Suburbs? We sold our house in Paoli 2 1/2 years ago and now live fulltime in SE Florida.

I'm usually not that lucky and have been waiting for the other shoe to drop since I ordered the car. I must say though, when I ordered the car with a confirmed allotment, the dealership said it would probably arrive mid-August, and that's about when it will arrive. I don't really want to say anything, but if it does happen then, I did really get lucky!

If you're on a ship already, you've cleared the majority of delays most people have been through. The only other potential hurdle is if there's a stop sale that appears at VPC, but lately they've been running smoothly from what I can tell.

I asked the dealer to check, as well as BMW Genius, and both sources feel confident my car will not be subject to a stop sale due to missing parts. Time will tell, however.

Looks like it has officially left Belgium and is headed towards the east coast. Seems to be delayed by about two days since it was originally supposed to leave on the 25th but nice to see it on the move.

That is good news! Looks like the new ETA to Baltimore is 8/5 which is only one day behind the original scheduled arrival.

If the ship docks in Baltimore on 8/5, how long do you think it takes to get through customs and onto a truck to a dealer in Maryland? I'm trying to figure out my ballpark schedule to fly to WDC to pick up the car and then drive it down to Florida along a scenic route.

I asked this in the "At The Port Thread" and was told it's about a week to unload, train to VPC, and then clearing processing there (as long as you don't run into any stop sales, but it doesn't seem like those are common these days).

I called the dealer, and they thought the car would arrive to them around 8/13.

That sounds about right if it arrives to Baltimore on the 5th and then takes about a week to do what needs to be done to get unloaded and through VPC. I imagine it's less than a few hours drive to the dealership in MD from the Port of Baltimore.

I'm on the boat with y'all. Just called genius today, the estimated arrival in Baltimore is the 3rd.
I've been waiting since June 2021 and I've been without a car since November when I sold my Evo. Can't wait for this thing to get here…

Nice! Although the estimated arrival to Baltimore is now 8/5 at around 3pm. It was in Zeebrugge longer than expected so it has been delayed.

Wow that is incredible, from order to delivery in 2 months is unheard of! Gives the rest of us hope

The screenshot still shows the 5th but Kline's updated schedule shows the 6th.
