Brooklyn Grey looks terrible on the configurator I'm now questioning if I'll like it in real life
Still waiting for the M xDrive price so I'm budgeting $3k for now Planned mods: 1. drop (MP-HAS or aftermarket springs) 2. spacers 3. color-matched reflectors 4. kayalmi orange break calipers 5. tint

Individual exterior colors are listed, but not interior. I want Fiona Red interior!

First time I have seen the base wheels (18/19 in style 824M) and I am not disappointed. Agree that Brooklyn Grey doesn't look great on the configurator but I think it will look great in person.

I’m surprised by the pricing. The MSRP ON MY non-comp F82 was $83,000, it had everything except the elective sun shade in the back and carbon ceramic breaks. This one is equipped similarly: all the packages with no carbon seats or carbon ceramic breaks, and it’s competition model, and it’s $81,500.

Really not a fan of the 19/20" wheels. Too overdone. The base wheels look very nice.

Tanzanite Blue Kyalami Orange / Black (extended) Parking Assistance Package Individual Shadowline Lights M Carbon Exterior Package Extended Shadowline Trim M Compound Brake w/ Black Calipers M Driver's Package I'm waffling back and forth between Silverstone / Kyalami for the interior though, can't decide which looks better. Also not sure how I feel about manual for a daily driver - don't get me wrong, I've driven stick for 20+ years, but have come to appreciate an automatic for bay area traffic. I also don't plan on tracking it regularly (though I'd probably take it to Laguna Seca once or twice because hey, you kinda have to) thus no carbon ceramic brakes / M Drive Professional option. Lastly....while I'd love the heated steering wheel and HUD, I don't care for the rest of the Executive Package, so that's probably a no-go for me. |

I agree with others. I think the 18/19 base wheels look the best.

I'm impressed with the pricing...I thought it would be much higher...on the comp model with the carbon seats.

For those folks commenting about pricing specifically (surprises, let downs, etc.) I thought it was worth pointing out that there is no need to wade through the configurator to see the numbers. Instead you can look at the Pricing Guides:
https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1763294 which have been available for about a month and a half. I'm not trying to discourage folks from using the build tool (it can be fun to play with after all), but I saw enough comments implying that pricing was part of the news here (it isn't) that I thought I'd mention it. Edit: Same thing goes for the interior/exterior color list. What you see in the configurator is exactly what was published in the guides weeks ago. No surprises there. |

Jelly of all the folks that will be ordering one.
Motivation to work harder and get a salary bump. These things will probably run north of $120k+ here in Canada ):
