HELP. OpF delete

Just had the OPFs removed and installed the OPF delete cables etc.

Now the car throws up every error msg under the sun and won't rev what so ever.

Any bright ideas other than bad OPF delete cables?

Hi Mate,
I know when some folks have deleted their OPFs, and fitted the delete modules, they sometimes have to reset something with ISTA. Im not just too sure what they reset, but i remember Joe Achilles, having to do this, when he went down to Milltek, and had the OPF deletes done. Its not a big job, software related i presume, but hopefully someone else will chime in, with the exact info .

PS, just give Imran a call at Evolve, he will know for sure, good luck.

Thanks!

It looks like we actually just got a bad set of delete cables that were breaking the circuit. We left them off and it all works, just the standard drive train fault up but still driveable.

AutoID sorted me out immediately sending a new set to arrive tomorrow.

Here's a fun one for you.

Delete modules still off until I can fit the new ones. My system is now all 3 inch from the second cats back, x-pipe and 2 smaller individual mufflers.

No faults today what so ever..

Still going to fit the miltek ones when they arrive and also have the can bus module just incase, but interesting it seems to have resloved itself.. i expected it to throw the fault again after a few mins driving / getting up to temp but nothing..

Sometimes OPF faults do not appear for a few hundred miles or sustained full throttle etc.

Mate, you will get limp mode as you have not deleted the opfs yet. Quite dangerous on motorways, I have been there.

When you install the delete cables and still get errors, reset the opfs in ista+:

Run Ista,>> identify vehicle>>Vehicle management>>Service functions>>Power Train>>Engine electronics>>Petrol particulate filter>>Petrol particulate filter>>register replacement

Delete all errors after this. Job done.

Thanks for the info, not intending to drive it any more than needed until the delete cables are in, definitely no motorway trips!

We did the Ista reset but it didn't work. It was almost definitely an issue with 1 of the cables not making the connection but hopefully the new miltek ones will work.

Quick update on this.

Installed the miltek delete cables and all works perfect, plug and play. It was definitely an issue with the performance co ones having a faulty connection somewhere.

OPF can be deleted with a software only, even on locked ECUs.
ENET and WIN PC ONLY required.

Are you sure on a locked EU Model you can delete OPF without Femto Unlock?
