Yeah he was pushing it a bit despite the traffic. Interesting comments on the seats, he really dislikes that center bulge when shifting. He also noted the torque difference playing a role on the exits. Nothing a tune can't fix!

Right. With the long gear ratios, I think Shmee should’ve just downshifted in those situations. It seems M prioritized driver engagement over pure performance in that the 6MT powerband encourages shifting and going to redline to extract the best results. I understand and agree with that approach, and thankfully for those that feel otherwise, a “fix” is easy and cheap to implement.
