Thoughts on if either or both of these will void my warranty. Getting many different opinions. Was told the intakes may void my Powertrain Warranty and the Dahler also if BMW locates it. Thanks!

if your upgrade damaged a car component, the dealership will not fix it for free.
The rest of the warranty will still work exactly the same.
they just wont fix any damages that your aftermarket part caused.

Get proven brands that are tested to be safe, and the risk is very slim you will ever need to worry about warranty.

Alot depends on the service or repair you are going in for. An intake has a much lower chance of voiding the warranty, and typically, it can be removed beforehand. Alternatively, if you have a helpful technician or service advisor, they may give you a heads-up and suggest removing the intake before approving the repair.

The piggy back may leave some data in the ecu that Bmw NA will be able to see and your Service advisor can't really help you with that.

Look into the Moss Magnuson warranty act. Can modifications void your warranty, yes but with a caveat. The dealer will need to prove that the modifications directly caused the damage.

I doubt Dahler piggyback can cause damage to this engine.
