Didnt read the thread but I’ve used Project Gamma, Mad DP and current AAW.

I can confirm no Cel for AAW. The flow isnt the best ngl so car feels slightly slower. Sound wise Catless wins 1000% but if no smell + no Cel is your goal go for it. Or get Mad DP + a tune.

yea, i have the whole awe system and was debating if i want to add the gesi dp to it or maybe just switch to a valvetronic equal length midpipe

Enough pops and burbles when you let off the gas which was decreased after I added the Valvetronic axle back to my AA single non resonated mid pipe. When you get on it is sounds like an ANIMAL!!! Absolutely love this set up now. Thanks for all your help and replies to this thread. It's really appreciated!!!
Congrats, I'm glad you like it

how much HP increase does the 400 GESI cats give by itself?
estimated

trying to ponder what is more cost effective if axle back and midpipe or downpipes and midpipe

I'm probably not the person to ask since i'm not selling gesi products or affiliated with them however, if I had to guess I would say they are probably around 25-30% more efficient than the stock cats. What that equates to hp wise will depend on many things like the tune/ power output. On a stock car maybe 5 hp or so.

If we want to talk about value for the money our entire Exhaust system which includes a Catless downpipe, Midpipe and rear muffler for $2904 Shipped surely beats the competition..

so there will only be a slight increase in sound if adding the gesi downpipes to the awe system?

I would not use the word slight, its a noticeable upgrade over stock.

Garage List
Just for clarification, for no CEL and max performance is Gesi Cat with AA downpipe the only option?

Has anyone had succes with no engine light for over a year?

What exhaust set up did you run? I have a ER 200cel DP, a AA single res mid with the their axel back. I’m about to get the 400cel from AA hoping it will be a little quieter with less rasp. I would go back to stock but I like using my stage 2 tune. Do you think getting the 400cel AA will be better for my case than the 200cel ER? Thanks.

I have AA 400 with full valvetronic exhaust, you'll have no rasp. It's the perfect setup.

yes the 400 CEL will provide a quieter sound than the 200 CEL, it will also help with the rasp.

Let us know how it goes

I just wish there was more actual data available on the performance differences between stock, 400cell downpipes, and 200cell (not including CEL and catless).

Reason being if one were to go through the process of installing downpipes, what actually is the best ROI for power and sound excluding cost? Wouldn't want to go through the expense of 400cell if the gains were relatively minimal compared to stock versus a 200cell option.

I want to know this too.

What about leaving the stock DP and getting a JB4 instead? I have a resonated MP and Axel back already. Can't do the unlock yet.

Active uses GESI cats, they are rated at 850 whp.
there is plenty of data on GESI cats, you can also check out their website (GESI) for more info on their products.
