Can't upload my contact from iphone when paired w/BT

Am I missing something? I go to load up the contact when connected to BT on my iphone. It acts like it is going to start uploading and then stops.

Suggestions?

I can't help, but am curious what the purpose is. Are you using CarPlay? I never uploaded any contacts and I don't think I'm missing anything. Full phone functionality including Siri with CarPlay.
