AA equal length v2 ?

Need some advice. I opted to do the upgrade program with active and they mentioned the v2 would either be a brand new unit or a used modified unit which I was okay with. However the welds on the v2 look much different than when I purchased my v1 brand new. Or is this how the welds look after thousands of miles of use ? The welds just look cheaper and don’t have that titanium type/color look on the welds. If you look at the sections that’s are new such as where the resonators are, the welds look much better. Any input before I install?

The last pic, the weld on the right looks like it has a small hole it in… or it’s a black speck in the pic. I dunno, maybe look at that. But yeah, all the rest of them, looks like they just hit everything on the belt sander when they finished to give it the brushed look.

So it looked like a hole upon closer inspection. But I put a flash light on that section and no light went thru to the inner part of piping. I’m assuming that means it’s not a hole and more of pitting on the weld? Is that ok?

Should be fine then. It’s a hole that gets created from a dirty weld due to debris or something. If you can’t stick a tiny needle through it, it’s fine. You’ll know if it leaks because black soot will form around that area over time. I wouldn’t sweat it…
