I know tastes are different, but for me the carbon seats are worth it. They really sink you into the car and offer great support during cornering, for me this greatly improves driving positioning and my connection to the car. If you track, it’s a no brainer. If you do spirited weekend driving, I think they are worth it. If you daily the car and sit in traffic on the regular, I’m not sure they are worth getting.

I will reiterate what others have said, you need to be of slighter to average build for these to be comfortable; this goes for very muscular ppl as well. If you are someone who has larger legs or wide shoulders I don’t think they would be comfortable at all. If you have a bad back or your significant other has some physical impairments I’d hesitate on getting them.
I’m getting the carbon bucket seats for my disability. I’m paralyzed and every M seat I’ve had issues where my legs won’t stay in place during hard driving. The bucket seats solve this problem for me and since they are thin my wheelchair fits even easier than with the bulkier stock seats.

Just read this post. I hope these seats are to your liking. They are definitely great at keeping you in place, particularly the legs with the high bolsters and that center carbon piece.

That's one of the few personalized plates I've liked and thought was clever without being dumb. How did you get the dot in there?

Many thanks. My other option was "M drei", felt like less ppl would have gotten that.

CT puts a dot in the place of a space.

I considered that in Ohio, but M Drei was already taken. I really wanted DAS SMRF on my YMB M4, but it got vetoed by almost everyone I showed the idea to.

Great minds. I wanted to do a similar plate for my old YMB M3, never went through with it.

Since I did 4 ED's I considered getting a zoll sticker to put on my plate, but I think they are 3" and I'm not sure what the police would think of it.

I read a really ignorant article the other day that referred to the eagle as a "nazi symbol". Like certain fonts or character sets there will be people who make bad assumptions about any symbolism like that

What's the color of your car in the dashboard? Does it show up as Santorini Blue or another non-individual color?

No, doesn't show up the individual color. I think mine is white or grey.

Mexico is lighter. Also (to my eyes at least) Mexico has more green in it, giving it a slightly turquoise feel. Santorini has very little green in it.

Santorini also changes a decent amount based on how sunny it is. It can look very light in direct sun. I feel like this pic of mine is pretty representative of how this color looks on a typical sunny day.

Thank you. Makes sense. Now that I think about it, Santorini is more like Voodoo. Can't tell the difference between them

I'm working on getting an M8 and am thinking about getting it in Santorini. I love the Enzian I have, but wouldn't mind something new and different so I might go Santorini for a little variation assuming they won't let me have Laguna Seca and there isn't some exciting stock color for 23. I'm hoping whoever buys my car is local so I can do some comparison videos.

Here's a Santorini M8 vid I found for some additional color comparison.

Man that M8 looks good. I was on the fence about Santorini at first, but I have to say I'm 100% glad I went with it.

That's the plan. My car is supposed to be worth More than I paid for it and the M8 came down in price $20 to $30k. I always wanted one but it was definitely not feasible at $150K+ but with the above situations it should hopefully work out
