Coo, now you can make the exhaust nicer looking but removing the weird lexus inspired outlets. Make them straight, so a lambo F40 exhaust down the middle. Someone would have to manufacture a modification to the centre valance section for this to happen.

I think that would bring back some normality to this crazy world we live in.

Yes, but also F40. But I think the weird set up would look better on a honda than BMW.

I don't really like the design but admire the work.. Good post..
It's exciting to know that same drum and bass tune will be heard thru the exhaust each time they ease off the throttle..

*plays the ominous bass from song in vid*

It is an eye sore. I won't even just say Honda's. This center exhaust style works great for the smalller cars: Mini's, Boxter (don't like it on there either), Lotus 111, etc... They should have tried it on a 2 or even the 1 series - not on this new TANK of a 3..

That's just the muffler only version, there's a separate exhaust system with a mid-pipe.

A few thoughts…

If I ever bought a g8x (nope), the full m perf body kit is a must except I'd find a surrogate aftermarket deck lid gurney type spoiler to match.

I love this exhaust setup as it matches the front's ahem design language, but would likely hold out for a Remus or Akra version as I don't trust the M perf exhaust build quality (f8x version is a pile looks & construction).

I wish there were speed shops like this one in SoCal. So ghetto here. It's a very low bar.

You really need a proper set of aftermarket wheels to fill out the massive wheel wells. The M perf FIR holed out version looks horrible.

I'll say three things:

1) Clean work by the mechanics. Japanese car culture, they respect and work methodically on customer/own cars. Unlike many other places, especially here in the U.S.

2) The stock exhaust sounds better.

3) Aesthetically speaking the M-Performance exhaust looks like crap. I'd rather keep the factory stock look.

Ugliest tailpipe setup I've ever seen. Even if they paid me, wouldn't get it.

Watch it in reverse. Puts a smile on your face at the end.

Totally would have them work on my car. Can't find a place that takes half the precautions they did.

They must have hired the Civic Type R designer to assist with their product design.

I actually like it a lot, the entire G8x M car went to a very controversial and edgy design, so did this MPE system i like them being so different.
BUT it sounds the same like those stock ones that's disappointment.
