VIDEO: Honest Review of My New 2024 BMW M4 Competition (xDrive)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So I have had the car for about 2 weeks now and wanted to share my initial impressions of the 2024 M4 Competition after upgrading from my 2022 M4 with RWD. I wanted to get xDrive so I can do some power modding and still put it to the ground and boy am I impressed with this car!

Check out my initial thoughts on the car from an amateur

They told me I could drive it normal becuase before you bring it in for the first 1200 mile service the engine/power is limited. They then change fluids and unlock the rev limiter or something.

This is an ongoing myth from what I have read. There is a whole thread about it.

No, that is definitely not any BMW official policy. If you read the manual, there is most certainly a break in period they specify.

Now, if you choose to believe it's necessary, that's up to you. But your dealer telling you the above is just flat out wrong.
