Bold yet stunning color choice! Nice change of pace from the 50 shades of gray seen in most modern cars on the road today. Enjoy in good health!

You do. Red, black and blue are free or you can have the gold ceramic brakes for $8k

Is the blue the same color of your car or a different shade?

It's not exact, but it's close enough.

just a heads up; I've heard dealers are not allowing their customers from posting pics of this shade of blue

lol where are you hearing that... a dealer would have no right, lever, or authority to enforce. much less request that of a customer.

There is a fundamental misunderstanding of property rights underlying this post.

I think the guy had to sign an NDA or something and could only reveal the color after he took delivery.

you are reffering to the other forum member, who has the enzian M3, and was asked by his dealer not to share details of color until delivery. No one is really sure why the dealer asked that, and compliance was in the interest of maintaining good relationship... If I had to guess, considering how early in the release that car was ordered, it was most likely the dealer overreacting to the embargo whip that BMWNA cracked when HEA cars started popping up on youtube channels with driving impressions prior to official launch date.

But OP or others should have no issue posting photos of personal property... in fact if you saw an enzian BMW on a dealer lot they actually couldn't prevent you from posting it if it was on display in public view.

Yea, as others have said, that makes no sense. karussell was requested to not say what color he was getting for some unknown reason, but there are no specific colors that BMW doesn't want pictures posted of once they are out in the world, and especially once it's my property.

snareman if you can get a side-by-side photoshoot with your car and a G80 or G82 in Santorini, you'd be my hero and I'd build a shrine in your honour (in my head at least).

That's quite the dream you have there. I'm in Ohio where people drive boring colored cars and probably don't even know that individual color options exist. I too would LOVE to see Santorini (or really any of the custom blues) in person as well. Maybe a consideration for my next one.

Enzian is beautiful indeed... you all comparing it with Santorini and Voodoo, I guess the similar shades of blue, but there is no talk about the Mexico and Riviera blue... are they too light to most of your taste? I am actually thinking Riviera or Mexico myself (just to be a little different)

I'd love to see those in person as well, although it does seem that that group of similar colors is a few shades lighter. Not sure if they might be too light for me, but I think I thought they might have been. Maybe if I could see them in person I might think otherwise.

Dare to dream, dare to dream. I might be able to see Santorini in person where I am. I might already have and not know it.

I could probably do lighter, or maybe darker if I had to (as dark as Portimao but that's it). In the right light, Santorini doesn't seem that far off from Mexico blue.
