Kali Muscle | Is The BMW M3 Competition a Girl's Car?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
This is a hilarious YouTube channel about bodybuilding and general nonsense. Lately it's been about him picking up new cars, mostly muscle cars. Randomly, he reviewed the G80.

Now obviously, he isn't a car expert and clearly likes cars with a ton of available torque but here's the real kicker, the first thing he says when behind the wheel at the 3 minute mark is that there is a big delay when you hit the throttle.
It's interesting that this is the first thing someone notices that isn't part of our little car community.

Interesting and funny review.
From his “outsider” perspective, it’s refreshing to hear his viewpoint on the car. What isn’t so clear is what drive mode he was in at the time and if the break in period has anything to do with the lack of sudden responsiveness he was looking for, that and the AT trans.

“Baby M8” was an interesting comparison. Wonder if he ever drove a M5. The SA that was originally helping him out seems to have been ranked out by the dude all dressed up. He must be the “closer” lol.

Bro Kali is the best. I trained with him once randomly and he's charismatic as hell.

He doesn't seem to appreciate cornering at all, and is myopically focused on straight line speed. The GT500 does have a 1.13g skidpad but I get the impression he's not at all focused on that. Even when talking about a Porsche (I googled it and found he has a base 911) he is only focused on the torque and not the impeccable driving dynamics.

Still the most interesting review I have seen to date.

You're kidding? He seems like a really fun guy to be around. I don't think people really understand that he plays a character when he does these skits. I would love to actually work out with the guy because he seems like he actually enjoys working out ya know?

He did 11 years for robbery and turned his life around pretty dramatically. Like him or don't like him, he's done well for himself. Everyone loves a comeback story.

Oh I know, fair play to him. I liked him a lot better when he was more authentic with fitness content when he first started... back in the days when Piana was one of the more honest dudes in fitness RIP. My only gripe with him in those days was he kept pushing the idea he was natty (like most juiced up influencers at the time and even now).

Whatever Kali is today, it’s pretty much everything I hate about social media and influencers. He isn’t even quiet about trying to use his “brand” to leverage deals on his cars and parts then complain about it when it doesn’t work. The dude has 0 authenticity anymore, just another influencer hack who’ll make content about whatever they think can get them views and sell a fake lifestyle to 13 year old boys. To be clear - I feel this way about almost all influencers, so it’s nothing personal to Kali.

Agreed. RIP Rich Piana, biggest guy I ever saw in person.

Yah saw him at a fit expo years ago, dude was next level. Definitely took the mass monster thing a little too far for his own health (I feel), but I’ll always appreciate how honest the dude was about the industry. Simple stuff like telling people to not rely on BS sups (and even his own at times) and just eat good quality food and put in hard work - more people need to hear that
