You need to drop it from about 1 ft above the latch while applying GENTLE pressure to both sides.

They also started with a $20k markup. Got it down to $10k. I guess that's just the market out there right now. Everything new and used is selling for so much over MSRP.

What dealer did you end up using and what was the markup you settled on if any?

It seems like up here, in NorCal, allocations are MSRP, but the cars already on the lot, are the ones that are marked up. I ordered in July, took delivery in October. I wasn't about to pay $114K for my car. Glad I didn't have a markup.

I just saw, this morning, on Facebook, someone got an allocation, today, from Concord BMW, they were #4 in line, back in December, it was at MSRP. And at least you didnt do this.
