A lot of the cars we see belong to employees, and many of them (if not most of them) have the G8x OEM winter wheel/tire package.

Agree. The vertical grilles accentuate the height of the front therefore it looks big and blocky for lack of a better word. We are used to seeing a more traditional and sleek front end so it will take some getting used to.

In general when I compare my G20 to my wife's F30 sat side by side the G chassis does look quite 'bulky' in comparison.

Also interested in the tires and what they are. The amount of snow in the pictures is rather ominous.

Probably 275/35/19 Michelin Pilot Alpin 5.

This thing looks like a total brute with those wide hips and wearing this color. I'm lovin' it! I'm still waiting for LCI taillights (hoping for 8er-like kink) and hopefully a new grille insert or framed grille...just something to enhance the look. I don't mind the large shape or size of the grille, but the frameless design looks a bit unfinished to my eyes. Then again, did BMW do anything with the kidneys for F80 LCI? I'm not sure they did, and I'm too lazy to look up pics..

Looks like a subi sti to me. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just doesn't look BMW. I guess in 3-5 years if this remains the design language it will.
