Love both that exterior green and interior "orange," but I'm not sure I love them together. I think I would have preferred the old SO / red from the f80 with the apparently high quality fit and finish displayed here.

I think a Tartufo interior would look better but we don't have that option yet. if this is the only brownish color we have, that's what I'm going with.

Just goes to show how personal color choices are, because I love it too. Green and orange are literally complimentary colors. This car is bright and loud, but also classy at the same time (unlike something like Sao Paulo Yellow for example).

Still have yet to see IoMG in person, but very much looking forward to it. Like purple, I think green is such an underrated color for cars, and something you don't see everyday.

I’m going black standard seats in my IOMG. I think the green stands out enough. Anyone agree?

I don’t disagree, but I like the contrast of the IOMG with the silverstone and black Carbon Fiber Buckets. That’s what I ordered.

Good catch! Sharp eyes

That little blacked-out piece (individual shadowline lights) does make a difference IMO. Easy way to make an extra $300, BMW

I think it does have the shadow light. Check out the pics below both cars with shadow light option. At first glance I thought they didn't.

The red & white you posted have the shadowline lights, but the green pic in the OP did not

The red has the shadowline lights. The white does not. The shadowline replaces the chrome "eyebrow" with a black inlay.

Here's a better reference of that same white g80 without shadowline lights.

That's not accurate.

BMW did not separate the F30 and F80 residuals the way they separate 3 series/M3 and 5 series/M5 now. I don't believe incentives were that different. Either way, there were 64 percent residuals available for F80/F30 cars during the 2015 model year (first year production). I'm sure discounting wasn't attractive when the car was first released but the residuals certainly were during its first year of production.

You could find some crazy deals on the 2018 M3 CS as a result of discounting. However, leasing actually got less attractive from a residual standpoint from 2015 to 2018.

You are correct...but if you want to talk about leasing residuals you have to talk about the money factor, which is down precipitously from 2015. BMW also has to determine if they want the financing arm to declare the profits or the manufacturing arm. It's nothing more than a horse trade and the company's profitability is revenues less expensves. Reduce the residuals, charge less interest, or vice versa.

I negotiate for a living so let's assume I am getting good pricing.

I had 2 F80's but was quoted frequently as I was trying to jump out of my non-ZCP. Year 1 they were in the $1,000 to $1,150 range on a true zero down lease. Year 2, they fell about $100 bucks. Year 3, they fell another $100 bucks and you could routinely be quoted in the high $800's. That's what I'm suggesting MAY happen here.
