Ok so they don't take off the entire diffuser, it's a part of the diffuser that pops out to allow the different exhaust layout.

Makes a lot more sense.

I would definitely consider it with downpipes depending on price and how the Akra system compares.

Sounds the same as stock, and requires tons of cutting(bumper, stock exhaust). The mp exhaust on f80 sounds a lot better

I was just thinking the same thing. All that work plus messing up the oem bumper by cutting it. I see a very small take rate on this exhaust system.

I think it was louder after the install, but video never do sound clips justice so I wouldn't make opinion just based on videos. I agree that this is too much work for the exhaust, it wouldnt be possible to go back to stock without a new bumper, I wonder if this is how dealer will install this. MP Exhaust on f80 are great, my MPPSK exhaust is pretty sweet, super loud.

Japanese always make quality works, that's why JDM parts are so expensive and their engineering is phenomenon.

Damn, seems it's not as easily reversible as previous M Performance exhausts.

Love Studie AGs work, the Japanese are all perfectionist in their craft.

That exhaust setup would have to sound like a Merc GT Black Series to overcome the hideous appearance, and that still might not be enough.

I feel like it's gonna be a tad expensive. Still not a fan of the honda set up either.

To be honest i don't hear a difference. i remember watching the F80 MPE exhaust video and hearing a difference.

We shall see

This is definitely a commitment. Is a one-way modification.

I will wait patiently for an aftermarket exhaust, that is reversible when is time to return the car.

I love all the tools these guys have. Pneumatic sanders and cutters were the highlights. They can handle very delicate work on plastics.

Installation was handled with care and Japanese precision. Well done.

Like all exhaust videos, I am sure this exhaust sounds a lot better in person.

Actually, after I watched the video again, you can still have old style exhaust back, the cut out part will be covered up by the diffuser so nobody can tell.

While I admire the nice work, this setup it's just plain ugly and useless! It reminds me of a Honda Civic....
