BMW's claimed power differences between the manual 480 HP M3 and the 510 HP M3 Competition seem to be correct....

Like the curve on MT a little bit better. Auto goes flat at 5700 and MT at 6200 or so.

He is a cuck for telling us his manual did 503 and not disclaiming it was CHP, in the last video.

Good ol BMW underrating again. I am assuming the 6MT is simply software detuned with no other hardware changes, right?

Is the RWHP figure accurate there for the 6mt? Hard to see but looks like 427hp? If so that IS only about 20hp more than late model year S55s put down. Still I'd much rather have the S58. LOOK at that 6MT power curve. BMW is so close to replicating NA motor power development. We only drop off after about 6700rpm. Amazing.

the 6MT is just running less boost via software, you can take care of it today with JB4. Map 2 is +4psi and adds 50-60whp. I plan to do it once i've got the breakin service completed.

Have to admit that both have an incredible output graph! I was always sceptical wrt the torque threshold low down, but when I look at it here, it seems only a little price to pay for the incredible mid and high rpm behaviour this beast produces.
