You're definitely going to get yours first.

The dealer in TX can't do any remote signing, they literally have to overnight paperwork, send somebody to my house to sign with, and then overnight them back to TX. Best case is mine gets released to a carrier Friday, but that's Christmas eve... so, guessing it won't get picked up there until Monday.

Yeah! I was surprised - guy picked it up Christmas eve and had 2 others to deliver if FL as well. Gotta go figure out what all these buttons and screens do now...

It was only sort of new car day here after all. Car has no AC - it's been at the dealer since this morning and they've been unable to diagnose it.

Almost there, sucks it’s late. I finally got mine yesterday afternoon after 2 1/2 days at the dealer getting it fixed.

well dealer is being a real hero today

winter storm warning starting tomorrow at 5a - 8p, 100% chance of snow friday and snow saturday.. temps in the single digits (F) at night. they moved my PDI to the front of the service line and i am now picking up at 130p today!! so i can have it home in the garage before the storm hits! yay!

taking it for ppf/tint on monday, so dealer is not removing any of the shipping films or plastics inside, either!

Congrats on finally getting it home! You said they didn’t clean or unwrap it, but damn did they also explode a can of coke on the side? Looking forward to the real pics.

yea, shipping blocks are removed. they did whatever they do, except remove any paint films, any interior films, like the dash plastic films, etc and i asked them not to wash it. it came on open carrier, so it was quite dirty.

well i already have one issue.

when you press lock on the key fob, the driver's door doesn't lock but the rest of the doors do and the car alarm is set. if you try to open the drivers door without the key, it opens and the alarm goes off

now the PPF place won't take the car now, they don't want to be accused of causing the issue, since they remove the door handles during the PPF process. and its snowing today and tomorrow here, so i am going to try and stop by service on monday and at least get them to confirm the issue so the PPF place will take the car.

omg not sure how I missed this but they indeed look like they forgot the shipping blocks

only in the rear tho. do the fronts come with shipping blocks? i can't see any evidence of shipping blocks in the front

edit: look like the front blocks are there as well, they are white and under the rubber cover...

edit edit: added photo. straight up none of the blocks were removed
