CSL with red trim delete

Thoughts on the CSL with red trim delete from the BMW Canada configurator. You still have to have red trim on the front grille and the logos.

I am totally fine with the red contour in the grill and red accent on the front and rear badges.

Yeah that pic has me worried that we should keep it, it's almost being used as a sticker to cover up the seem between the CF and the hood.

They could also put a black sticker now if we delete the red.

Loses a bit of the specialness by opting out of that, IMHO.

That's what I'm going for. Not a fan of Brooklyn grey + never liked frozen paints. I was set on going frozen at first but can't reason myself to pick something I don't like just for the sake of potential resell value. Although I also think some second hand buyers will love the aggressive look of BSM + red delete.

I think personally it looks better without the red trim but the red trim will likely become iconic for the model so I think ultimately I would opt to keep it.

I wanted to do the sticker delete on my AW car, but I think the stickers probably add to the overall package of the car so I figured better to leave it on, can always remove it later

If I get one, it’ll be red accents on Alpine White.

I don't know really why but I also think I would keep them a AW car, it just fits ok. I personally think the color Red and matte brooklyn grey don't go well together.

I'm undecided also. My gut says the spec featured in the marketing will be the one to have from a resell perspective (in 5-10 years). I need more clarity on how that seam looks without the graphic, or if black is used. I swore I would never buy black again and the white is so plain/common. I am digging FBG with graphic delete.

The red stripes on my CSL started to look terrible and the at only 150 Miles on the car. After removal you can see how the stickers starting to imbed in to the clear but after a little buffing i was able to remove the flaws. I cant express how happy I am by pulling them off now vs 5 years from now, couldn't imagine the paint damage long term. Now with that said I may buy a entire set and store them incase I ever sell the car and new owner may want them. Honestly the car looks so much more classy. One would think, for the money we paid BMW should have painted these on vs placing these cheap stickers on the car.
