What I like the most are the rims. They finally offer the 826M in brighter colors than black and the too dark bi-color version. Although they'll probably be available only for the 50 Jahre models.

Would be interesting to see what other sales regions get what and how many other versions they will release… I am confused considering I have applied for the M4 CSL. Mixed messages on what to buy in the year of 50 M.

Will they release an M4CS within the 50 Jahre Anniversary or will this come later?

Why can't BMW just make a good, bright red part of the normal line up? They're almost the only car manufacturer without this option as standard.

Maybe but my neighbor has a 30 Jahre M3 and I'm always so happy seeing it drive around.

I'm surprised how tasteful and beautiful these 50 Jahre cars are, aside from the M4's ridiculous headrests.

Has anyone noticed that in all the press release photos, BMW seems to have been very careful not to show the dashboard?
I wonder why.
I even went to the USA BMW website which has the 50 Jahre editions on the front page but even there - no pictures of the dashboard.
I want to see whether it's iDrive 7 or 8.
Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

IDrive 8 curved screen

Curved Display and iDrive 8
Inside, the driver and passenger are greeted by “Edition 50 Jahre BMW M” lettering on the door sill trims. An aluminum plaque on the cupholder cover reminds us that this very special M3. Customers have the choice of the standard M Sport seats or the optional, track-ready M Carbon bucket seats, upholstered exclusively in Black Extended Merino leather. The biggest change inside is the addition of the large curved display with iDrive 8.

Lame marketing by BMW, you could probably all of these colors and wheels through their individual program, so that leaves the big tacks emblems...seriously, why is any of this important to anyone that likes to drive cars. Yuck!

I wonder if these BMW M PERFORMANCE CARBON AIR INLET SET - G80 M3 | G82 M4 SKU: 51118074773 are only going to be for / on the Chinese Market and not NA G80s?

I keep being told that there won’t be a m4 cs. Does anyone know anything differently. I would prefer a m4 CS as long as they bring better colours than grey to Australia 😱

That's all it really is. For BMW, it's just a marketing exercise. To potential buyers, it's a M3 that you could get relatively soon vs. having to go through the BMW Individual process to see if BMW would approve your build and then wait at least 6 weeks until production starts and another month for transport.

I really like the treatment on the M3 seats, the M4 seats are way overdone. Nice effort overall though for both cars.

This is the only colour combo we'll get in Australia

The word is, only the M3 is a limited edition (500).

They did this so anyone who'd missed out on the CSL could get a 50-Jähre M4. There could be 2000 of them made if they get that many orders, I guess

OK, try doing that with Techno Violet! Sure it may happen in the future, good luck.
