My relationship with my dealer is... contentious to put it mildly.

Congrats on the allocation tho.

- AWD
- As light as the e46 M3 CSL (~2800 lbs)
- Needs to have brand new manual and DCT transmissions.
- Cost needs to be only $10k more than the standard car.

Removing the CSL stripes makes it look like just a normal M4. With the disappointing 0-60 times, the M4 CSL just feels like a disappointment.

Was it edibles or full-on bong hits before coming up with this fantasy?

Getting allocation at MSRP. More than MSRP means you do not have a very good relationship with your dealer. Change dealership.

I am in Chicago

Can you DM me your dealer

My dealer said they met Saturday and said no reservations will be accepted

Huh? In which universe is this?

Over here on planet Earth, this is a very lightly optioned 992 GTS at most. More like a 992 S with normal options.
Have you built a GT3? Try it sometime. A friend is getting a GT4 RS, 180k and it still doesn't have half the options. Plus market adjustment of course.

Some people need to share what they're on

Regarding paint choices, this has long been a staple of CSL/GTS cars. Has someone missed the last 20 years? They only come in a few colors and that's it.
Forum whiner: "we want the good old days"
BMW launches CSL in 3 colors, one more than the E46 CSL
Forum whiner: "wahhh but they're not in the right colors!"
Used market..? Lol I'd pay an extra 20-30k and get into a GT3 or 570…

Lol. A GT3 will be $100k+ more than this, but ok.
Used market GT3 and 570

most people would pay 170 for a 992 GT3 but the problem is you can't, lol. a 992 GT3 is 300k used. a new 992 GT3 is 2-3 years out and many US Porsche stores are charging way over as well....not to mention a 170k 992 GT3 barely comes with a seat and 4 wheels. 200k is more realistic for a decent 992 GT3 build but like I said, you can't get one anytime soon.

you could buy a 140k M4CSL and drive the wheels off it and get completely tired of it before you get a new GT3. Order a GT3 now and enjoy the CSL, trade or sell it when your GT3 comes in.

Not sure you will find any CSL for 140 K in this market. I have bought 4 cars from my dealer in the last 3 years and they will not even put my name up on a list. They are not sure they will even get one of them. If they do they will want to silent auction the car or have the dealer owner will take the allocation or give it to their most VIP costumers at a huge mark up. Probably 30-50 K mark up.

I like when people mention a 170K 992 GT3, I am #3 on the list for close to a year and half and it's not moving much. Granted I started #7 for a written agreement to be sold at MSRP. Possibly I could get a 992.2 GT3 2025

There is less than one per M dealer (245 CSL and 300 M dealers) so calling them won't really help you.

They are only getting one. I reserved it months ago. That is it for them
Good luck!
