Guys I just added this with the PSI midpipe. I ordered mine Defaulting to open... I have a newborn in the house and this probably wasn't the best idea. I read on the instructions I should be able to hit the button to close the valves prior to start but that doesn't seem to work? I basically have to keep hitting the keyfob as a start the car and i get a second or two of loud cold start. Has anyone had success closing or opening the valves prior to ignition?

Press the start button three times to go to diagnostic mode. Then press the close button on the fob. This will close the valves. It would be tedious if you need to do it everytime you're setting off.

Ouch, yea i need to order a new one that defaults to closed. You can't change these once their are coded from the manufacturer right?

One more question for the initial settings... If i need Coded Default to factory, and started the car in non sport mode, the valves should be closed correct? I wouldn't need to order with closed as the default, right?

Just added this controller today

I already have a Valvetronic midpipe but this definitely adds more volume when not in sport and when you are in sport plus it seems to add even more volume and burbles

It's the perfect amount of noise for me paired with the midpipe

Well worth it!

Connections all secure and in place? A loose connection could grow that error I assume?

at this point i have quadruple checked the connections to be best of my knowledge. unplugged and re-plugged them in multiple times.

visually, i can see both valves closed in comfort, see them open 1/4 of the way in sport+ (at idle), and see them open 100% using the VSC-2 remote.

Maybe ask the manufacturer of the product? They might have seen this before. Could be a fault with it or a simple fix. I haven't heard anyone else having this issue so you are pretty unlucky

They stopped taking new orders, the average ETA is 8 weeks for any existing order (8 weeks from the date the order was placed)

Wow that's disappointing. 8 weeks! I was just thinking about getting a quote from you Mike and saw this post. Are there any other makes out there in this price range?

Guess while were at it, could you give me a price shipped just in case?

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Do you think the company will no longer offer the product in the future?

Considering how popular it is, im sure they'll keep offering it. They just need some time to get caught up and avoid bad feedback from upset customers who have been waiting for months
