Question for those who know better than me.

I bought 15 and 12 mm spacers, ideally for 15 front and 12 rear. I have the Michelins. Car is at stock height. I won’t be dropping it at all as it’s a DD which includes driving in some pretty deep snow periodically.

I was sure I had seen similar set ups that worked like this without rubbing or modifying the wheel well, but lately I’ve been seeing 12/10 for the majority of Michelin owners. Did I shit the bed and now need to buy 10mm’s for the rear? Or will I be ok? I’m planning to throw them on when I switch to my summers in about a month.

Thanks for your advice.

I only chose 12/10 over 15/13 because I wanted an OEM+ look over obvious “poke”. Now, with my 12/10 installed, I think 15/13 would also look good and not be too much. Just personal preference. I didn’t choose based on potential rubbing with my Michelins. I can’t comment on that.

I have g80 lowered that came with Pzeros. I ran 12MM front with my fender fins shaved down and 15MM rear. I did not rub in rear. And I did not rub up front once I trimmed my fins down 50%.

I now have PS4's and put the 15MM up front this time. I have no rub. But again, I did shave my fender liner fins down 50% for the Pzeros to fit. I then put the 12MM in the rear this time, but feel the rear would look better with 15.

So in a way, I want another set of 15MM spacers for 15MM all around with PS4's.

I'm not sure about 15s, but 12mm won't rub even without modification on PS4S.

When I was running standard wheels and no drop, I had 15mm, 13mm spacers and it looked really good in my opinion. I have bc forged now and used the same offset when ordering wheels.

My Pzeros in rear did not rub with 15mm rear spacers. So I suspect my Ps4's will not either. I only put the 15MM up front because it needs it more than the rear.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Sounds like 15s upfront hopefully won’t rub or poke out too much. Looking forward to installing them in late March after our weather warms up > 7 Celsius. I’ll post some pics at that time (and hopefully no rubbing 🤞&#127995.

I was talking about the fronts. More than 10mm, PZeros will rub on the front liner.

They wont poke out. I put a straight edge off my fender lip down to the front wheels with my 15MM spacers and I see about 5mm before a tire is literally flush with the fenders edge.

Some members here run 18mm front with Ps4s and it looks amazing.

My car gets built next week and have RKP liners waiting for it with Eibach front springs only for the G80. Was going to order FC15MM all around. Will this be to aggressive as I don’t know which tires my car will come with, or is 15 square fine?

Michelin PS4S
No drop

MAD Spacers: 15F/12R from mike@x-ph.com

No rubbing while reversing. Looks the way they should’ve from the factory. Very happy with the look.

Trying to decide between 15/12 and 18/15. Seems like both fit fine, the 18/15 looks better but I’m curious if it will rub during hard driving on AST springs.

15mm in the front will definitely rub unless you get the RKP fender clearance.

If you do not wish to do so, I recommend sticking with 12mm in the front

Sups fellow bmw fanatics

Quick question for yall. Lately I’ve been thinking about getting spacers for my g80 m3. I’m getting a lot of conflicted information on which ones to get and if they run or not. I have no mods done to the car or done any lowering and I have the stock pirrelis that come with. So the question is? What spacers do yall recommend and do they really rub or not?

Thanks I really appreciate all the help I can get

I had 15mm front/12mm rear on cup2 and H&R sport spring. No rubbing at all. Now, the cup2 are dead and i'm trying the pzero and it definitly rubs in front in reverse. Dam, I already hate those tires after 600 miles.
