G8x Grille Removal

Dealer ended up drilling into the grille for the plate mount and I wanted to replace it with a new grille. I was able to access the grille by removing the front bumper, but (1.) I keep getting defeated by the clips that hold the grille to the bumper, (2.) as well as the clips that hold the front PDC wire loom that runs across the front of the grille.

Does anyone have any advice on how to correctly remove these clips?

Pennies or dimes, seriously. There is an inside edge on the little tab, put a penny in it, so do it for every single clip and it should push out. Otherwise I used a screwdriver and slowly worked my way around.

Why not let the dealer replace it? They're the ones who drilled the original, I would think you could hold them to replacing it if its something you didn't request.

I already told my dealer do not even think about drilling the front bumper to mount the plate and I'll probably lose my mind if I show up and they've done it.
