DRL Malfunction after RGB DRL

Ordered RGB drl chipboards for my 2024 M4 non laser. 2 weeks later got a “Daytime running light / parking lamp” malfunction. Weird light is shining on one side but not the other side on top of the headlight too. Is this caused by the chipboards? (Got from vinyldesigns2)

I had a brief issue with one of Jerry's original kits when he was still using the dummy canbus chips and one failed on me. Jerry was super quick to diagnose and send me a replacement board. Since then everything has been working perfectly for over a year and a half now. Reach out (I see you've already tagged him) and Jerry will get you fixed.

On another note I installed the CSL DRL on the top was no problem, the one on the bottom was a bitch. Ended up breaking the connector on the yellow board. Went to reinstall the original white and I damaged the board prying it off.
So now I ordered another set of yellow DRl’s B it I have no lights on the drivers side. Drove it to park and got all sorts of warnings. Question is when I install the new boards will the faults clear themselves?

Thanks

Yes when you install the new board the codes should clear up the way to take the boards off is to heat it up a little and it will soften the glue .

Thanks, I did use a heat gun but the screwdriver slipped and cut one of the circuits one the original white oem board.

I pulled on the connector on the Yellow CS board to make sure it was secure and the connector soldered to the board came loose. Maybe a bad solder job or I pulled to hard.

Any way I ordered a new kit and will try to be more careful this time.

Thanks for the reply.
