Mounting the BMW CCA grill badge

I can't quite figure it out the best way to mount the grill badge. I also can't get my hand in there to manipulate the wrench in order to tighten the nut. I don't feel like taking apart all of the stuff to get in there from either above or below.

I'm wondering if I should dremel off the integrated nut on the badge and use two-sided tape to just stick it on that way.

Anyone come up with a good solution?

Same Issue Here???

Congrats on your selection. I returned from doing a Performance Delivery late Friday (June 11th) and unsuccessfully attempted to mount my CCA grill badge prior to hitting the gym this morning. I've got an appointment on Monday afternoon to have a few carbon fiber parts installed and will ask the owner if he can offer us a solution. Stay tuned and may your week be kind...

BMW CCA Badge Installed

Would you believe the shop I went to which also installed a few new carbon fiber parts for me went so far as to take off the front bumper to install the badge? His first attempt was to grind down the top and bottom of the round portion behind the badge where the screw mounts into to insert it through the grill so it would remain flush. It didn't sit to his satisfaction, so he just took off the entire bumper and turned the metal backing plate into a small horseshoe design so it fit into the grill from the rear perfectly. This was way more labor than we both thought, however it looks nice, is snug and allows me to proudly represent the organization.
