Enzian Blue. so far hard to capture in pics. Apparently just like all other BMW colors

Swapped cars with my buddy and did some spirited canyon back road cruising. He's owned or driven a few generations of the M and says this one is definitely the best performing one by far.

The McLaren was a blast to drive on my end of course

How stickler are they in NJ about no front plates? It's finally not required in Ohio as of last year, but I haven't had one on my car for the last 17 years and haven't had a problem. At least I'm finally legal.

Took out the charcoal filters yesterday. I was too afraid to do it on the F80 because I didn't want to remove the CF brace. This was simple (and I am a complete fucking moron when it comes to being a mechanic). The driver side took me about 10 mins, but the passenger side took 5 mins since I was more familiar.

Added some mud flaps. After driving 100 miles and hearing all the rocks hit the wheel wells and possibly the sides, this was the most economical route to protect the paint. Don’t really dig the matte look of them, but deff do the job. Might take them off and paint them gloss black to match the side skirts.

Excuse my ignorance folks, why are we taking out the carbon filters? I've seen others talking about it too. Are you replacing them with something else/better? Just taking them out? Thanks!
