So I picked my car up at the BMW Performance Center in SC. I did not option the tech package but I did get a G80 M3 Comp with the shadowline package. I was shocked to see that my car came with the Lazer LED Lights.

So It seems you can get them without the Technology pack.

Awesome! Does it show up as standard or optional equipment in your garage in the MyBMW website? I also didn't order exec pkg, and initially it was showing on my build sheet from the dealer, but in a later update it dropped off so I'm assuming it won't have it at this point.

I saw your buddy Thic Whips’ video of your PCD experience. Looked like a lot of fun. Congrats on the new car.

BMW equipped some early build G8x M3s/M4s with Laserlights even if the Executive Package was not optioned. This seemed to be an “Easter Egg” surprise for early custom orders. It’s not available as a standalone option and it isn’t guaranteed - there is an M3 at my local dealer that doesn’t have the lights as you can see below.

So it looks like M3 Comp is standard with Lazer lights. Well it shows up that way in My BMW Garage specs for my car.

Is that bmw sf? The interior of that building looks familiar. Are you getting your car from them?

Yep. They have a nice dealership facility. But I'm buying from another Bay Area dealer that was more flexible on price.

When I was searching for a g82 I stumbled across a 77k black on black one without the exec pack

I noticed the car has laser headlights so I ask a rep are the pictures I'm seeing the actual car? The rep told me yes it is and I said hmm are you discounting the car? And she said no and listed the options and then the price

I asked how the car had the laser headlights if it didn't have the exec pack and she assured me ALL g82s came with laser headlights (which we all know isn't true she was just a very misinformed sales rep lol and had quite an attitude)

Regardless I ended up getting a much more optioned out spec but the point of me over explaining my experience is so I can say yes! Somehow a few cars came with laser lights without the exec...kinda strange as it's not an up charge when it happens

I wish mine wins the lotto and comes with laser.. If not I might just walk away from my my21 and go to a different dealer for My22, 1k add on such a good deal.
