Which Contis does it come with? SportContact Extremes? They are excellent..very close to the PS4S.

G80 on P Zeros... Ill live. I just think of Lewis winning on Sunday with Pirellis and the placebo factor sets in.

If you with that mindset every GP weekend should get you going.

This thread would have been great as a Poll. Easier than sorting through 4 pages of tires.

Mine has P Zero's. The only thing annoying me is the clearance for spacers

Mine with the pirellis, trashed them on the track. Hard to say how good/bad they are as it was first trackday with this car on a new track for me and hence had no comparison. I felt the car was mostly oversteering and with heat they were getting better. As the stints were only 15-20 minutes long I didn't reach a point where they overheat and got mushy. Will probably put cup2s next.

You must be gentle, I can trash any street tyre in 3 laps, so 5 minutes.

I have to admit I was scared to push it. New car, new track, new tyres, I was driving slower than I could lol

You are 100% correct and that’s exactly what happened to me. 4 Perelli tires on mine. I’m remarkably bummed out about it. I went ahead and ordered the Michelin‘s. Freaking BMW.

There is a G80 at the dealership by me it has Pirelli’s. The G82 I saw at the other local dealership had Michelin’s . I have no experience with pirelli tires but my first two m cars (f80/f82) had Michelin and I love them. Super grippy and wear very well for a soft tire. They are magnets for nails, etc. though. Not the fault of the tire I guess.

It's not a BMW thing. It's a tire supplier thing. It's no different than any other manufacturer having to find tires for their cars (…e.g. Porsche > Pirelli/Goodyear/etc.). A manufacturer has to equip your car with something, and one tire supplier cannot do it all on their own.

Did you buy the Sport 4s or are you sticking with the P Zeros?
